We had Gemma's first birthday party on friday. I don't think she really knew what was going on but she had a good time. I originally planned on playinh kickball and eating hot dogs, but we just had the kids play on the playgroung instead. We had a great time visiting and bbqing. Grandma K surprised us and was there. My baby girl turns one today. Wow, where did the year go? There really is no feeling like holding your baby for the first time. All the pain and struggle you went through for nearly 10 months just doesn't really seem relevant anymore, quite trivial, when they look at you for the first time and you know that they know your their mommy. There is no better feeling. Gemma is such a sweet baby, definately rambunctious and busy but she is so sweet. I can't believe the year went by so fast. I am so grateful to have her with us and I can't wait to watch her growand learn and help her through all life's challenges... lets hope they're not too hard :D I love you Gemma!!

So for those few who do follow, or atleast check out the blog, sorry for the no postage. I am stuck in between the busy life of an almost three year old and the very much non stop life of a nine month old. Not to meantion mine.. oh wait... that's pretty much my life, haha. Anywho, after a long and trecherous nine months and one week Gemma is now officially crawling, and yes, had her first spill out the front door that her very gracious older brother opened to let the dog run away. Luckily the welcome/ wipe your muddy feet mat, padded her fall and she crawled away from the accident with just a red bump. Her brother on the other hand walked away with a red rump. (catch the rhyme?) Coop stain is doing well, he almost has all of his shapes down, we are working out the difference between a hexagon and a pentagon, but it's only one side right?? As for Levi and I, it's the same ol' thang, work, kids,laundry, work, school, work, dishes, you know the drill. I hope all is well with ya'll. Until next time...

St. George

It was Levi’s spring break so we headed down to St. George to see the fam. We had such a great time!! We first stopped off at Dain and Alyse’s on Friday and Saturday. Levi and Dain went golfing on Friday with Ben in Salt Lake and Alyse and I hung out at their house with Josh when he got off of work. Then the guys were off again playing some tennis in the morning and we took the kiddies shopping. WE stopped at Wal*mart on the way to the mall and bought a stroller and had the funnest time trying to get the zip ties off in the parking lot. A nice guy came over and helped us get them off, apparently all you have to do is push the little tab down and they come right off… yet another thing boys learn in High School that we somehow miss. :D Later that day we headed off to Leah and Steve’s new house in Eagle Mountain. It is awesome. I am jealous. Then off we went to SG. We had a great time swimming at the SHAC and having Gemma’s half party. Her cake didn’t turn out so I’m going to have to make one and just take pictures… Mia and Dar came over before they headed up SLC for the weekend and we got to compare the babes. Man Kalem you are huge. Believe it or not Gemma is older.. Check out the pic, he is like twice her size. I just read Erika's blog about Q and man that kid is crawling!!! I would say I'm jealous, but I'm not. :D I can still leave the room with minimal worries haha... Cooper and Gemma were soooo happy to see all their cousins and Grandparents. Coop wanted to go back right when he saw we were home. We will hopefully get to go back soon so he isn’t gone too long.

Alive?

There have been some recent inquiries on whether or not we are alive, but yes, yes we are :D We have had a busy couple of weeks. We moved into a new place in Boise, closer to school and work. We like it so far we have a lot of space and it's quiet. a luxury we have come to cherish :D (love you Gublers!!) Anyway here is a picture of the outside of our new apartment, the inside is a bit of a mess and i don't feel like cleaning it up for the blog...

Apparently people don’t buy TV’s larger than 32” because the niche above the fireplace made especially for TV’s doesn’t fit anything larger. Levi rigged up a shelf thing to stick out on the edges so our TV would fit. It works out…

As far as kids go, ours are great. Coop is livin’ it up in his new room. Not that he didn’t love living under the stairs. Haha. He loves going for bike rides to the gas station to get a drink even though it takes like an hour (it’s only 2 blocks:D) digging in the dirt out back, and playing with Gemma.

Gemma is the big 6 Months and I’m planning a half birthday party while we are in St.George for 10 DAYS!!! WooHooo!!!! She says Da-da, I was a little offended at first because, after all, i did birth her... but then I remembered Coop said Ma-ma first, so I guess Levi and I are even. She is sitting up and and playing and being the cutest and sweetest baby I know.

Well I hope all is well and we hope to see everyone while we are in the big SG!!!

My favorite thing in the morning is to snuggle with my kids. Lately Gemma has been making faces. They are seriously hilarious. Here are a few of my favs...

I just read about Gemma's two little boy cousins that are almost her exact age and they are flippin' MONSTERS!!! haha. I Know Gemma is a little small, well i prefer petite, but sitting up at four months, c'mon. Poor little thing, she is just now comfortable pushing her head up and resting on her elbows while laying on her stomach :( I try and give her a lot of tummy time, but she gets so mad she will just yell and scream until i turn her over. The little fart. I'm not too worried she'll catch up. You two Monster Mommy's quit braggin'! :D

It snowed over the weekend so Levi took Cooper out with the Gubler kids sledding this morning. It's nice with the motorcycle track, it's like built in bunny hills. please ignore the shaky parts, i had to run and get into veiw.

It's Here! Twilight is out!! We bought out tickets 2 weeks in advance to make sure we all got in. Jandi is nice enough to let me tag along with her and all of her girlfriends to dinner and the movie tonight.I even made t-shirts for her and I, and a few of the others. I was going to write, "All i want for Christmas is a Cullen" (courtesy of Leah) but it was too hard to write with the bleach pen or permanent marker.. so i settled for some swirls and the title. Jandi's turned out way better than mine because i did her's second, but they still look pretty good. Here is a pic. I hope the movie is good. :D

I haven't been keeping up on the Blog too well lately, so here is an update... Our family is just working really hard to get everything ready for Jo's Wedding, I'm practicing cakes, Leah is sewing dresses, my mom and dad are franticly trying to get their house in PV ready... It's been pretty hectic, but fun.

As far as my pregnancy goes i am feeling the baby move more and more, Levi has felt it a few times. My ultrasound showed that my placenta is too low, so i am going to have a few more ultrasounds to watch that and make sure it doesn't grow too far down. My doctor says it shouldn't be a problem though, so i am going to take his word for it. other than that we are staying busy with Cooper and work.. Hope everyone is doing good!!

"Gook Mama"

Cooper woke up a little earlier than usual this morning, and i was exausted, so i put on a blues clues, made him a bottle and some toast and went and laid back down for a little while. I knew it was a recipe for disaster, but i was too tired to care. About 25 minutes later when the Blues Clues was over i could hear Coop out in the living room playing around and laughing... as i laid there i smelled something stinky, but i figured it was Ava, our dog's, breath, or mine. Then i heard it... "gook mama poo" which translates "look mom poo". i imeidiatly jumped up becuase i was scared Ava went in the house and Cooper had it, but to my surprise, in the middle of his room sat Cooper with his hand in the edge of his diaper pulling out poo. He painted a beautiful mural on the wall. It was awsome. :S I threw him in the bath and got him all clean and then i had to tackle his room. I am so glad that my gagging reflex is in full swing from the pregnancy, it made things so much more fun...

I went to the doctor last week for my monthly check up and i got to schedule my ultrasound!! YAY!! So on April 23 i will know if its a boy or a girl... :D I'm hoping for a girl myself, but everyone is telling me i want another boy. Whatever it is i will be so excited! OH! p.s. my due date isn't in October it is in September.. the 26th to be exact, it;s always good news when they take a few weeks off. :D At the bottom of the page there is a poll... let me know what you think!

Farewell Uncle Jaden

Levi's brother Jaden left for the Munich Germany Austria Mission on Wednesday. He is a Great uncle. Cooper Loves him so much. Jaden played with Cooper so well and was always willing to take him on the go cart and play games with him. Cooper and us are going to miss him a lot!

Over Easter weekend we were invited to leah's to have a egg hunt with some of our cousins, and on Saturday we went out to the desert with Levi's family to have a picnic and another egg hunt. We had a great time with both, and the best part was since Cooper got to practice hunting eggs at Leah's he was great on Saturday!

The go cart

Levi's brother Jaden fixed up their old go cart... He put in a new engine, "Murdered it out", and put head lights and everything. It's so much fun. Cooper loves it! We took it up to Idaho with us over the weekend and I dont think Cooper was in the house more than 5 minutes before he was asking for "go car?" He just laughs and smiles and makes car noises the whole time. It's Hilarious! Here are a few pictures of us on the road by our house...

I am a huge fan of the twilight series and i just saw they found Edward. Now call me crazy but I think he is the most important character to cast right. I am a little disappointed with their choice. Most people know him best for his role as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter. For those of you who haven't read the books, Edward is supposed to be very handsome with sharp features and beautiful eyes, and i don't really think this guys has any of those features... The Grand Canyon

So I have lived in Utah for 6 years now and i have never been to the Grand Canyon. Josh had his Girlfriend Lina visiting so we all went. I am a little afraid of heights so I was a little scared some times, but Cooper had a blast climbing around on some of the rocks and eating pine cones.

So Me, Jo, and Leah all decided it would be fun to take the kids up to Pine valley and take some pictures for this and that so we went last thursday. It started good, the ride was fun, all the kids were behaving. When we finally got there it was a beautiful day, a little windy, but nice. We started taking pictures and they we turning out good, then Laney got mad, then Bubba got mad. Dana was DONE taking pictures, and Cooper and Hank were crying... so we left. So, finally Jo has popped!! September 27th at 3:41 in the morning. She started having contractions at about 7 pm, but they weren't very strong, and not very close apart. I knew it was coming though. She called me at about 1:45 am and i headed to the hospital. She was there maybe 3 hours before she was fully dialated and realy to push. She only pushed 2 times and out he came. All the nurses were joking and told her she needed to give lessons on how to have kids. I was serious though when i asked her to show me how to push... anyway, he was 7 pounds 14 ounces, 20 inches long, and has dimples to die for. She named him Hank Ryan West.

Heber City

So because we both have the best parents, we were able to go to Heber city, and Park city for 4 days last month. we had the best time with our friends Dain and Elyse, and Kayson and Jakelle. We spent the weekend fishing, shopping, golfing, and just having a great time...

In December Cooper was blessed and it was his first christmas. He pretty much slept through it all...

The First month we didn't do much, slept when we could and had a lot of visitors. We did go to Uncle Jaden's state football game in Salt lake, It was a ton of fun, but they lost. :(
