Melissa's birthday cake

Since i have been making some cakes lately Penny asked me to make a cake for Melissa's birthday this year. I didn't really have an idea whether to make it just cute or elegant or what, so i mixed and i think it turned out really good! Here are a few pictures...
P.S. I just noticed there is still powdered sugar on one of the bow loops. Oopps!

Kitties

We are finally moved into Levi's parent house for a few weeks until we make our move up to Idaho. To our surprise his family got a couple kitties to help out outside around the house. They are so Cute! Cooper loves them. he asks for the "Ditties" all day long. He is really good with them and picks them up nice and sets them down nice 95% of the timw. :D Here are a few pictures...

Update

I haven't been keeping up on the Blog too well lately, so here is an update... Our family is just working really hard to get everything ready for Jo's Wedding, I'm practicing cakes, Leah is sewing dresses, my mom and dad are franticly trying to get their house in PV ready... It's been pretty hectic, but fun.

As far as my pregnancy goes i am feeling the baby move more and more, Levi has felt it a few times. My ultrasound showed that my placenta is too low, so i am going to have a few more ultrasounds to watch that and make sure it doesn't grow too far down. My doctor says it shouldn't be a problem though, so i am going to take his word for it. other than that we are staying busy with Cooper and work.. Hope everyone is doing good!!

practice cake top

I am making Jo's cake for their wedding in June and this is just a practice top layer. She already has a cake topper so i'm not going to do a monogram i was just messing around... But i was pretty proud of myself for the first try..

And the verdict is.......

It's a GIRL!!! :D I am so excited, i already went to look at fabric for her room!! I didn't find anything though... I will post the ultrasound pictures when i get a chance. But she looks healthy and everything is normal.
